赵奇，湖北石首人，中共党员。主要从事造山带脆性变形的时序与性质研究。目前以第一作者在Geology、Tectonics、Geological Society of America Bulletin和Chemical Geology等期刊发表论文6篇。主持国家自然科学基金青年项目和广东省面上基金项目。

大陆边缘造山过程的浅部构造响应。通过自生伊利石定年技术、脆性构造域划分与同位素地球化学的联合应用，重建造山带脆性变形的时空演化，为造山带演化过程提供构造与年代学框架。目前主要围绕东南亚环形俯冲体系相关的板块边界断层及构造混杂岩开展研究。
