  • 1987年毕业于浙江大学地质系,1994年获巴黎第七大学博士学位,1994-1995年伦敦大学Royal Holloway学院地质系博士后。之后回国工作,历任中国科学院广州地球化学研究所副研究员、研究员、副所长、所长;同位素地球化学国家重点实验室主任。现任中国科学院广州地球化学研究所深地过程与战略矿产资源全国重点实验室研究员。先后当选中国科学院院士(2017)、美国地质学会(GSA)会士(2018)、美国地球物理联合会(AGU)会士(2021)、国际地球化学学会/欧洲地球化学协会(GS/EAG)会士(2022)。

    现任国际火山和地球内部化学协会(IAVCEI)大火成岩省委员会委员,国际大地测量与地球物理联合会(IUGG)中国委员会候任主席,广东省科协副主席, AGU VGP Fellows Committee 成员;国家自然科学基金委地学部第九届专家咨询委员会委员,国家航天局第二届月样专家委员会主任委员、探月工程四期领域科学家,大湾区科学论坛战略咨询委员会委员;《大地构造与成矿学》主编,National Science Review、Global and Planetary Change、中国科学编委等。曾任国际地球化学学会奖励提名委员会委员,IAVCEI中国委员会主席,中国矿物岩石地球化学学会副理事长、监事长、火山与地球内部化学专业委员会主任,Terra Nova,Frontier in Earth Sciences, Episodes, Mineralogy and Petrology, International Geology Review副主编, 科学通报编委等。

    主要从事地幔岩石学、地球化学和深部动力学研究。先后主持了国家973项目、基金委创新群体和国家杰出青年基金项目、中科院B类先导专项、广东省基础与应用基础研究重大项目等,在华北克拉通破坏、峨眉山大火成岩省和地幔柱、东亚大地幔楔以及嫦娥5号和6号月壤研究等方面取得创新认识。担任国家基金委重大研究计划“地球宜居性的深部驱动机制”专家组组长、重大研究计划“西太平洋多圈层作用”专家组副组长。已发表论文近400余篇,其中SCI论文350余篇,主编Lithos和Episodes专集四部;Google Scholar引用33800余次,H-index 95,入选World’s Top 2% Scientists 2020和中国Top200榜单,连续11年入选Elsevier高被引中国学者名录。以第一完成人获国家自然科学奖二等奖(2011, 2020)、广东省科学技术一等奖(2006, 2014)、广东省科学技术突出贡献奖(2023)、李四光地质科学奖(2013)等。一项成果入选2024年度“中国科学十大进展”以及两院院士评选“2024年中国十大科技进展新闻”。
