  • I am a Research Professor at the Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and an Honorary Associate Professor at the Research School of Earth Sciences, Australian National University. I worked in the field of geochronology and isotope geochemistry since 1983 at the Institute of Precambrian Geology and Geochronology, Royal Ontario Museum, Washington University in St. Louis, Geological Survey of Canada, Australian National University, and Korea Basic Science Institute. My main goals at the GIGCAS are setting up a modern facility for high-precision U-Pb dating of terrestrial and extraterrestrial rocks and minerals, and promoting a research program in chronology of the solar system’s oldest rocks.
